QUESTION ABOUT AP SCORES AND R&C REQ'S

I know 4 on a ap lang or ap lit test can get you out of the first half of the R&C requirement.. and a 5 on the ap lit test can get you out of both halves

but i took the ap lit test TODAY.. and ill be waiting for my score until mid july..so i dont know what classes i should sign up for early

i really wanna sign up for the Asian American studies for both halves of the R&C requirement.. but i heard they fill up real fast, and since i can't sign up early because I'm waiting for my AP score.. what's the best thing i should do?

should i sign up for the class anyway just in case i didnt do so hot on the ap exam? or should i wait it out? but what if i dont get the classes i want? should i take the class in sophomore year then? i'm so confused!

which of the R&C requirement classes are the easiest and most interesting in your opinion?

I personally think that taking an R1A class that you might not need to won't hurt you. If you find out later that you don't need it you can always drop it if you don't like it. You could enroll in both the R1a and R1b courses if you want, but you wouldn't be able to sign up for more than a one or two unit class and a PE class.

The difficulty of the R and C classes is basically on the GSI/prof who runs the class. I think that people in English tend to be intense, as do comp lit. Rhetoric has a unique way of viewing things and many people learn a lot from these courses. Many enjoy film and art history, or history. I don't know. It's all about what you want to study, and how much you like the person teaching the course.
