Question about AP scores

Hi,

I wonder if BC will put our AP scores on our transcripts because while I was reading on math department website, I saw this: You are exempted from the Mathematics Core Curriculum Requirement if you received a score of 4 or higher on either the Calculus AB or BC placement exam, and the result has been recorded on your transcript.

I didn’t understand what does it mean when it says " the result has been record on your transcript"? Does it mean it will put our AP result on the transcript or I totally misunderstood it?

Thank you!

I think they just mark on your record that your AP score fulfilled the Core requirement for that subject.

I see. But what if my AP score is not good enough to fulfill the core requirement? Would BC still put it on my transcript?

^^No, the scores do not show up.

That’s good. Thank you!
