I am an extreme overachiever and am horrified that my school only offers a few AP Classes. If I take the class online or self study, can I still take the test? If so, how? What would I need to do? Somebody please help me. I'm so confused and stressed

I believe so. You should talk to your office or guidance counselor about this and they may be able to set you up to take the exams at a nearby school that does offer them. If they are unhelpful, I would try contacting the other schools directly.

You don’t need to take all the AP’s available. Just take what you can. Colleges aren’t going to look down on you just because your school only offered like 4 AP’'s. From what I know, you can take an AP Test even if you took the class or not. My AP teacher said you could take the exam as long as you sign up and pay for it.

Thanks! It’s not just about getting into college; I want to learn all I can. Some of the AP classes I really want to take (Environmental Science, World History, and Psychology, ) but my school does not offer them.

Oh, I know right? My school doesn’t offer AP Chemistry or any AP science class. Lol. I think you should talk to your school counselor!
