question about AP when apply harvard

i'm now junior, i'm gonna apply harvard college(HVC) next year. my school doesnt offer me several AP courses i love, so i will take AP final exams through college board this May. am i the same with those who take the whole year on AP courses and take the exam when i apply to HVC

one more thing, i’m international stdent, i dont know much about how my GPA will be calculated. and if i got grade report from College Board the courses i take my self not through the school, is it true that my school doenst have to do anything with it or it will be calculate with my GPA

The Harvard application has spaces where applicants can self-report AP test scores, and AP test scores are just as meaningful for students who self-study as for students who take a school course.

for a little more information, most of which dates back to before when all Common Application colleges (of which Harvard is one) now receive Common Application forms with spaces to self-report AP test scores. Good luck.
