I suppose to get December ACT result today, but my result has not come out yet, but I need to submit my application today or tomorrow. So when I submit my application, how do I indicate my December ACT score? I can't leave the score section blank... help me!

ACT scores are sent to Illinois twice a week via an electronic download. If you’ve specified that you’d like to send the scores to Illinois, they’ll be sent automatically when the scores come out. What takes most time is the writing score to be posted. Illinois requires the writing score be on at least one set of scores that they are sent. After that, I’m pretty sure they will accept an ACT without writing, and if it is the highest composite, that’s the one they’ll use. Drusba can weigh in here if I’m wrong.

If you didn’t specify Illinois when you signed up for the test, you’ll need to go to the ACT site and specify that Illinois be sent a copy of the scores via REGULAR delivery. Priority delivery doesn’t matter due to the twice a week electronic download.

I assume you will have your score by the end of today. If not, I am not sure what prompt you need to put in the on-line app to make it move on if any – are you sure the app requires the score for you to move on and complete the app because I was under the impression it did not? You may need to call and ask but possibly try NA for not available.

As to Q above, if you have multiple ACTs to send only one needs to have writing, and another without writing, if it has the highest composite, will actually be considered for admission.

Thanks for replies. It helps me a lot
