Question about application: How many semester hours of transferable credit?

Sorry for the dumb question, but it was worded a little bit strangely for me to understand.

Here is the question on the application:

How many semester hours of transferable credit will you have earned prior to your intended term of entry? (1 quarter hour=.67 semester hour)

How exactly do I figure this number out? If I am in a class that is worth 4 sem. hours, do I count that as 4, or do I multiply it by the grade point of the letter grade that I earned? (4 hours x 4.0 (letter grade A) = 16, or (4 hours x 3.0 (letter grade B) = 12, etc.

Thanks, and sorry for the dumb question I am a just a little confused with the wording of the question.

They are only asking for transferable credits, not your gpa, so you don’t have to do anything with grades (other than only count the classes you passed).
