question about application process....

<p>I applied as a transfer student and I've yet to hear if I have been accepted. </p>

<p>Today, however, I received an email from Wisconsin, asking that I fill out a residence hall application if I'm interested in living in the dorms. Is this normal considering I haven't even been accepted into the school yet? </p>

<p>This is the heading of the letter:
"UW-Madison, University Residence Halls - Join us for Spring 2008!?"</p>

<p>Sorry this is probably standard but thought I'd ask anyways.</p>

<p>haha, they probably already accepted you, you just haven't received the letter. To double-check, log on myUW to check your application status. Your ID number is the one they sent you via email right after you submitted you application (typically, anyway)</p>
