question about application process

so if i want to submit the part 2 application by the Dec 1 deadline in order to be elgible for scholarships. how do i gain access to forms such as Counselor Rec Form and Score Report and such. I see the forms when i log into my account but it says not available because of an incomplete application and 3-5 days after i submit it they'll become available? well if i turn in my application by the Dec 1 deadline am i still allowed to turn in the other forms afterwards because they're not availale to me right now?

Here you go:
2. apply online, or download and mail these forms:
USC Undergraduate Admission - Freshmen

i understand how to do that. i'm just wondering cuz when i log in theres a set of forms that are restricted that says wait 3-5 days after application is submitted. but they're all available on the regular admissions site without a barcode or anything in the corner

You can download the Counselor Rec and Score Report forms (from the "regular admissions site") and send them in at anytime. Just write in your Student ID number if they haven't sent you any barcode stickers.

well since i did not submit the part 2 application yet i have not been assigned an id number. do these 3 forms (teacher/counselor rec, act/sat report, transcript request) need to be mailed in by the dec 1 deadline even if i submitted the online part already in time in order to be eligible for scholarship

that's the exact same question i have.

i don't know what to do without the ID #!!!!!!

help us please someone. :(

Use your social security number if you are sending something directly to them. Or, you can put your name and high school and they will put it in your file.

^^listen to bessie. Use your Social Security number. The point of the ID number system is to give them a way to double check they are filing all paperwork and forms in the right files. So don't panic. Just use what you have. You will receive a letter from USC to tell you if they are missing any documents and have a chance to follow up if something needs to be resent. But do your best to stay organized and everything will be fine.

Didn't you receive a confirmation letter from USC after filling out the preliminary first part of the application which gives you your USC Id number at the top? Look for the letter from USC which provides you with your USC ID number to use for the rest of the application (recommendation forms, etc.) if you don't have the bar codes.

I had the exact same question, but I looks like I've found the answer using the information packet they sent in the mail:

TIP: If you are applying for scholarships, we strongly encourage you to submit your recommendations by the scholarship deadline even though you will still be considered "on time" if we have received only the application. The sooner we have your recommendations, the sooner we can review your complete application.

So, according to their little "tip" here, I guess we can send the recommendations in after the deadline.
