question about application to honors

<p>So I already submitted the GW common app and the supplement and I had planned out also applying to the honors college, however, now I don't really think I want to apply honors. Is it okay if I just don't submit the honors application. I dont remember if I specifically said on the supplement that I was going to apply honors. Or should I send admissions an email letting them know I have changed my mind?</p>

<p>...also is it wrong not to apply to honors just because I'm too lazy to finish the essay?</p>

<p>I don't think there was a spot on the supplement to say that you applied to honors, so it's not a big deal to not submit it.</p>

<p>Does being in honors increase your chances for scholarships? I'm trying to decide whether to apply or not.</p>

<p>Well, at an info session the adcom said that $ is not attached to the honors program, but that the students in the honors program tend to get merit $. But I'm not under the impression that it increases chances for merit aid.</p>
