Question about Application

<p>Hi !
I am an international student from morocco and i intent to apply to university of alabama , but there is a problem in what concerns the application material. here is the problem :
the UA check list for international students can be found here :[International</a> Admissions Checklist - The University of Alabama](<a href=“http://gobama.ua.edu/international/checklist.html]International”>http://gobama.ua.edu/international/checklist.html)
the problem is that the UA wants every international student to provide the Certification of Finances wich shows the financial support, but I can’t afford all the money for the tuition for the university Of alabama . and that represents a great problem , because I rely on getting a scholarship for the university, and my stats are high .
Can I put only the amount of money that my parents have ?
Or can I apply without giving the Certification of Finances ?
Plzzzzz I need Ur Help !! :(</p>

<p>^^^My recommendation is that you contact the undergraduate admissions office directly, either by phone or e-mail, and address your question and concerns to them. I’m sure they will assist you and give you the most accurate answers.</p>

<p>Here is the link to all their contact information: [Contact</a> Information - Undergraduate Admissions - The University of Alabama](<a href=“http://gobama.ua.edu/contact/]Contact”>http://gobama.ua.edu/contact/)</p>

<p>Best of luck to you!</p>

<p>I helped another int’l student last year with a similar situation. She sent in her app, transcripts, test scores, and scholarship app first, then later dealt with the certification of finances.</p>

<p>Every college requires that finance cert to get your visa. </p>

<p>I will try to contact the Int’l Office today to ask how soon they need that finance cert.</p>

<p>I called the Int’l office today…</p>

<p>They said submit your app, send your scores and transcripts.</p>

<p>Then apply for scholarships after you get your email in a couple of days.</p>

<p>thxx mom2collegekids
so the certification of finance is not essential to apply?
or that means that after getting the scholarship I will send the certificate of finances using the money earned in the scholarship?
i’m a little bit confused on this point, Can u clarify ALL THE STEPS that I must do ??
thxx :D</p>

<p>Ok…</p>

<p>Right now you don’t need the finance cert.</p>

<p>The office said to submit your app, sent your stats, then wait a few days for the email. Then set up mybama acct, then submit scholarship app.</p>

<p>I also left a message with the head of Int’l apps for more info. I’ll let you know what that person says.</p>

<p>How much can your parents contribute?</p>

<p>How much can your family show in savings (I don’t necessarily mean for college, but show for savings).</p>

<p>actually my parents could afford me 25000 $ that’s all !!</p>
