Although my SAT Subject test score for my Math II isn't bad, it's only a 760. If I'm applying to engineering essays at top colleges a lot of the students will have 800's. I doubt they would reject me based just on this subject test score, however, there are other students in my school with 800's. I was wondering if it was worth changing my major when applying.

wow a 760 in math ii is great

If you love engineering, then you should apply as an engineering major. A 760 in Math II is a great score, but the fact that you would consider changing your major to increase your chances at a school makes me question if you really want to go into engineering.

760 is like 75th percentile, and it really doesn't matter to engineering schools as long as it's not like 650. It's an SAT II. It really doesn't matter that much. Everything else (recs, essays, grades, SAT I) matters so much more.

760 is like 75th percentile? WHAT? so it's easier to score higher on it than the regular sat i math?

No, because in general smarter people take the level 2.

Eh, I was planning on applying as a Biology major and then perhaps changing majors once admitted.
