I am a student very interested in majoring in business. However, I have one question: when applying, do I apply directly to the business program of the school? For some schools I'm applying to the business program is way harder to get into than other programs. If I were to be denied to the business program, would I be considered for "undeclared" admission? Or when applying am I just trying to get into the school, not a specific program? Hope that makes sense, thanks

bmr – this is a very school specific question. You really have to look at the applications for the schools you are looking at.

However, I’m pretty sure that a number of the top programs (Penn, Cornell to name 2) have you apply directly to the undergraduate business program, and that it is harder to gain admissions.
