I'm going to apply to both UCLA and USC as a transfer. However, if accepted, UCLA requires you to turn in your Intent to Register Form by June 1, 2010. But on USC's website it says that they won't even mail out their admissions letters until that date. So what do I do if I get accepted to UCLA and turn in the IRF, but then decide to go to USC when I get the admission letter? Can I do that? Thanks!

Use the search option please.

I have, and I couldn’t find anything on the topic. Maybe I’m just not using the right combination of search terms. Any suggestions?

You should ask ucla beforehand what will happen. IMO there will probably be a financial penalty.

Pay the amount if admitted to UCLA. Then, if you get into USC and choose to attend, just take the hit. Several people have done it. I know it seems like a lot of money in the short run, but if you prefer USC it will be worth it.

I’m pretty sure you can opt out of an admission enrollment form and get a full refund before the first day of the semester starts.
