Hi, I'm a high school senior right now. At the moment I'm taking General Physics at a community college. I've already been accepted into UCLA, so does it matter what grade I get in it as long as I pass the course? Would grad schools look at the grade I got in that class if I'm still in high school right now?

You want the best grade that you can pull off at this point. If all you can do is pass because you’ve been slacking or because it was more difficult than expected, then pass the class. If you are really asking whether or not you can slack off now and settle for a lower grade than you know you are capable of, well then you also know the answer to that question, don’t you?

No sure about grad school, but I KNOW that for med school every college course you EVER took counts in your gpa. Also, if you ever decide to transfer during UG, transcripts for all college coursework are required.

Go to the Admissions page on college websites and look at Graduate school admissions and see what’s required.
