question about applying to kelley

in the beginning of this year i applied to regular college of arts and sciences and i got in....i was wondering if there is a way to request a new look at my application with all my senior year grades with the hope of being accepted into kelley. or do i have to wait until my freshman year to try and transfer in?

Mekny, now is the time to do it. My younger son appealed and was accepted as a direct admit, but I can't find the form on their website now. The best thing to do is to call them and ask how you can submit an appeal. Here's their phone number - Kelley Direct Programs (877) 785-4713 or (317) 278-1566. He submitted his first semester grades, two letters of teacher recommendations and a letter he wrote stating why he felt he'd be an asset as a direct admit. You should be very close to their requirements. He missed the ACT by one point, for example.

Good luck to you!

did your son originally apply to kelley? or a different school and then try to change which school he was accepted to

He just applied to IU stating he wanted to go into business - not to any specific school. They review the applications and Kelley takes 5%* of those going into business as direct admits.

*I was told the number this year is still 5% of all students they take who are going into business. I know this was debated before, so I'm just repeating what they told me.
