Which would be the better choice:

A). Applying to schools early decision (most 11/1)

B). Applying to schools regular decision but including the first semester of 12th grade's grades, raising my GPA

Also: would 1/1 even be enough time to include the first semester grades?

Please and thank you!

…either way they’d get your transcript

But would waiting increase my chances if my GPA was increased?

It depends on how much your predicted grades will increase your GPA.

Apply early. Seriously, do it.

Someone correct me if I’m wrong, but I believe if you apply to a college early action and don’t get in, but are close to what they’re looking for, you’ll get deferred to regular decision where they’ll get a chance to see your first semester grades and reconsider your application.
