Question about APs

because there is no competition, the act isnt really that widely used

i say we start a rebellion, get all future students to forgo AP testing and take ONLY acts

Who's with me?!?!

haha lets do it =P anti-collegeboard...or should we just say anti-college haha =D

My school is thinking of creating separate honors classes next year for people who don't take AP tests. Thus, if you take the "AP" class, you have to take the AP test. But that really sucks for students b/c the colleges will see that you, technically, did not take the "most challenging class available," even though it's just the same material minus the AP test. Obviously the school is doing this so high-achieving kids will be forced to take the AP test just to be in the class, even when the AP test won't help them in college at all. I think a lot of the fault goes back to the colleges: they expect us to take these classes, but refuses to give credit for our work (and $$$!).
