Year current: Junior
Gpa:2.8
extracurriculars: Varsity football (1 year), varsity track (4 years) DECA (Business club), 53 hours community service at the hospital

^I really ****ed up my gpa. I was lazy sophomore year, was a little depressed, and let my gpa drop from a 3.3 to a 2.8, and now I'm struggling to bring it up. I can't stand when people say "just go to a community college" because I feel that I'm better than that.

My sophomore year of track, I made it to the second round of states. I was the #1 sophomore in the meet. I'm already running times that some collegiate d2 athletes are running, and I still have two years left of high school. I can compete to the college level in track, but are my grades stopping me from doing so? What about if I have an uphill climb in grades?

The reason I want to compete in college is because I feel that doing well in college is my only ticket to a college of my choice.
