Question about athletics/sports on ECs.

I'm a 3 season sport attendee I guess you could say.

I participate in cross country, winter track, and spring track.

Due to these sports my participation in clubs is kinda limited.

I'm in Spanish club, national Spanish honor society, national honor society, and am an ignition mentor for freshman (just kind of an orientation for them to transist to high school.) I'm only adophmore so next year I hope to have at least 2 leadership positions.

Unfortunately with these sports I'm very limited to time.

I'm just an average athlete, nothing worth competing for scholarships or even running in college. I do it because I solely enjoy it.

Do colleges recognize the commitments atheltes and especially 3 season athletes make?

Absolutely. The common application asks how many hours/week you do your sport - and you do track year round.

You don’t need a laundry list of activities. Just one or two (if one is a sport) to show that you don’t sit home watching tv every day after school, have some social (and possibly other) skills, and would be an asset to the college community.
