Question about awards/ honors

Hello all, I have a quick question about the awards/ honors section of the college app.

Last year, I was the runner- up in a contest. My state issued a "resolution" acknowledgment what I had done and my town issued a "proclamation" that did pretty much the same thing.

My question is, do you think that something like that would be considered an award/ honor? And if so, do you think that it is significant enough to put on my college app.?

Thanks!

(If you have questions about what the resolution/ proclamation actually are or what they say, let me know so I can clarify).

Do you consider it a significant award/honor? I would put it if you consider it important. If I were you, I'd put it down anyway, unless you have a bunch of other awards/honors that you think are more significant than this one. So if this is the only award/honor you've got, I say put it down!
