Is it necessary to take your laptop to class often?</p>

<p>You will require to carry your laptop around, to the library, for team meetings etc etc so a laptop backpack would be preferable.</p>

<p>Not really. Pretty much not ever. I don’t think they ever require you to bring one. It’s good for playing games and surfing the web when you get bored though.</p>
<p>Just buy any backpack you want. No one is going to make you bring your computer anywhere with you, and for the few occasions you’ll want to take it around you can just put it in large purse, bag, or just carry it yourself. </p>
<p>If you do want to take your laptop around places a lot, a specialized backpack will be worth it.</p>
<p>Before starting college, I got one of those specialized backpacks to be prepared, but it turned out I rarely ever carry around my laptop. However, I found it very useful when I travel, like carrying it around in the airport. Then you won’t have as many carry-ons.</p>
