Question about becoming a Pharmaceuticals Student

A little back ground about me; I'm 16, currently finishing up my Junior year in high school. I will be graduating a semester early next year, to get a little jump on my life. I plan to become a Pharmacist one day, but college seems to be in my way. Well, Math more specifically.

I'm in Algebra 2 as of now, meaning I'll be doing College Algebra next year. My question is, I hear that in College, if you're a pre-pharm student ( 6 year plan? ) you take Calculas your first year. Will I be able to make that jump? Will they stick me in that class, or will they just tell me "Listen kiddo, this may not be for you". I've never really had a problem with school, I've always gotten A's when I wanted them, but this kind of creeped up on me ( Should have taken a more rigorous schedule in high school ;) ). If given the chance, would pure self motivation, meaning really hard studing, get me through the course?

I have no problems getting into the college I want to go to if it matters, I've already passed one of thier low(:() requirements ( 21 composite score on the ACT ).

Most colleges will have you take a math placement exam if there is any question about what class would be best for you. Some schools require a math placement exam of all incoming freshmen.
