Question about bed

Does anyone know if the beds in residence halls have box springs, or just mattresses?

Also, do rooms have a mirror attached to the wall or door?

Thanks!

I believe they’re all mattresses. And there’s a big mirror on the back of the door.

Beddings: are they twin XL or just twin? thanks

they are twin

thanks! it’s just I am 5’ 11", lol

there wasn’t a mirror in my room, so i don’t think they have mirrors in all the dorms

Most colleges have longer mattresses that need twin xl .I sent 4 kids to college .All beds took twin XL -you should check .Target and Marshalls get them around August for college .

Just checked again and they say there are twins…I bought twin XL just in case. I really hope the beds are longer because I am 6’2"

The beds are definitely twin. I know most colleges are twin XL, that’s why they make a point of saying the beds here are just twin.

Yup, I called and unless you are 6’5’’ they won’t change the size of the bed, we are gonna be very very comfortable!

I’ve heard that the XLs work fine on beds there. 6’5’’ to get a longer bed? Let’s see if I can grow an inch in a month and a half!

XL fitted twin sheets are easier to put on the mattress. That assumes, of course, that the UMD student actually takes the sheets off the bed and washes them throughout the semester!

Hmm…there was a mirror on the door in my dorm when I attended orientation.

LOL Gemini!

I’m 6’ 0", my roommate was 6’ 4" and the guy across the hall was 6’ 6". You’ll be fine.
