So I'm pretty interested in the biotech field but was wondering about what i should do as an undergrad. Alot of people say to take biology or chemistry as an undergrad and then get an advanced degree in biotechnology. Is this true? Any advice would be appreciated especially if your in the same boat as me. Thanks!

In the US biotech is mainly a graduate school field. It’s best to major in Bio or Chem and then get a Masters in Biotech or a PhD. to work in Biotech. Look into Professional Masters Programs.

Ok thanks for the advice. Do you have any preference for either biology or chemistry or something like microbiology or biochem?
