Question about calculating GPAs...

School is on 100 point scale
Weighting: x1.05 for Honors, x1.08 for AP

For a 4.0 scale, how would I calculate that?

Either (GPA / 20) - 1
OR
A=4.0, 4.5
B=3.0, 3.5, etc.

Thanks in advance!

Use the scale that matches your transcript. Unless specifically requested, don’t convert your GPA for a college application.

If you want to convert your GPA for your own amusement, there are many different conversion scales. [url=<a href="College Board - SAT, AP, College Search and Admission Tools[/url] one.

Thank you!

First, convert all grades from 100 point scale into letter grades. Then do the calculation using A=4, B=3, etc. Your formula would only work if A=100, B=80, C=60, D=40.
