Question about CAS MA 127

I didn’t make it to the AP test for personal reasons, is there anyway I can take this course or do I have to start over with MA 123 (Calc I)? Or could I possibly take MA 124? I’m currently in Calc BC. Thanks in advance.

You should ask more recent students, but back in the 1980s I too did not take any AP tests because I didn’t want college to be “too hard”. Not the smartest thing I have ever done, but oh well. I did take MA127 my first semester and MA225 (multivariable) the second. In retrospect, I could have started in 225. They were both pretty easy, and I ended up working as a grader for both courses my sophomore year. I actually think you can skip MA127 if you have had BC calc and be fine. I would think you could petition to go into MA225. Ask the math department.

Thank you so much dude!
