question about class/discussion/lab

<p>This might sound like a silly question... but</p>

<p>Does it matter which order we take the class?
B/c currently, my schedule is discussion for math, and then the lecture right after....
same w/ my CS class... lab first, then lecture.</p>

<p>from what I think I heard... during discussion is when you take quizzes...? and when hw is collected ? (pleaes correct me if I am mistaken) so.. would I be at an advantage if I take discussion first and then the lecture right after?</p>

<p>it doesn’t matter. GSIs make sure you don’t get quizzed on material you haven’t had in lecture yet. if anything you’ll just be discussing stuff a day or two after you had it in lecture while other people may be discussing it right after lecture - which is good b/c you review lecture but bad b/c maybe you need some time to go over the material to see if you have any questions. don’t be too concerned about it in the end</p>
