@confusedhexagon…well…i should do the same too then :

That is complex!! But still, in essence you are from the SAME school.
I don’t know how the admissions officers would see it though!!

Any award…however small/big is good:D…(Trust me:))

Small Award>>>>>No Award.
Big Award>>Small Award. :p

we might be from the same school,but we will sit for different XII board exams

Well the CBSE students got through via the same IX and X state board classes at the school. Anyway, 1 student/school sounds outright ridiculous, given the size of SPHS.

i agree with occamsaftershave
anyway…i am applying to NUS.i believe neither occams nor hexagon will apply to that uni…
i can send 4 free score reports…to which colleges should i send my score?[i plan on taking up cs]

@Occams - It’s not a rule that - 1 student/school/univ. If you ask the universities they’ll deny that outright.

But unless your school is renowned for sending large number of students to the top universities, that is the way it is going to be.

So when choosing universities - keep this in mind!! :)

Well, I’d say we’re fairly renowned, actually. Besides, our average applicant quality is high - I have a 2200 SAT with 800 M, 730 CR, and 670 W with 7 on the essay , yeah I know, sucky essay with a suckier topic XD - and I’m on the low end of the SAT score spectrum here so it seems rather unfair to say that it is so when most other schools won’t have similar applicant quality.

SAT scores are NOT everything! :)

I agree SAT scores are NOT everything.
However, SAT is still significant portion of college admission process and you can still improve in time different from other factors like GPA/ECs.
So, please take it again before too late. (Most of colleges uses best combined high score.
