Since UCLA disregards freshman and senior years (as with all UCs), I was wondering if this school would still base their decisions on class rank if the high school uses it.
I mean, on college board it states that 97% of admits were in the top 10%, and I don't know if they just use that number randomly because the of the recalculated gpa or not.

they don't disregard freshman and senior year, they just don't count it in UC gpa but they still ask for your regular gpa, well they ask for all your grades and calculate GPAs themselves. also the main thing for rank is if you are in the top 5% you get ELC status which appearently is very important...
