Question about college courses

Hey, I'm a senior in hs and planning on applying to colleges shortly. I've taken a few college courses at a local community college during the summer of sophomore and junior year. I would like to include that in my applications, but where should I put that under? When it asks if I've ever attended a secondary school (other than my hs) should I put it under there? Also do they require a transcript of grades that I've gotten? If so where should I attach it to?

Sorry for asking all these questions. And thanks in advance!

On the CA, below the Secondary school section, there's a section for Colleges & Universities, put them there. Yes, have an official transcript sent. Xerox a copy of the course description and send it in with your application.

^ yeah that's what I thought but there any chance that they would think that I ACTUALLY went to a community college for undergrad or grad or w/e? And also I was enrolled as a special student there and I didn't take loads of courses there but would I still be able to get a transcript from the college?

You are using the Freshman application, not the CA Transfer application, so there won't be any confusion. Also, lots of students take CC courses, so they're used to seeing them. Most HS students just take a class or two at a time, as long as you were taking them for credit, you will be able to have a transcript sent.

My son took lots of classes the local public univ. here when he was a high school student. He did the Common App just the way entomom describes. He listed the college where it asks about colleges on the Common App, and had a transcript sent directly from the local college to the school he was applying to as a freshman. He was not seeking to transfer credits, he just took those classes at the local college while he was a high school student because they were interesting to him and to fill out his "high school" education.
