Question about college transfer admissions deadlines?

If the early admissions priority deadline for a couple of the colleges I'm thinking about applying to is only a week or so away, would it be pointless for me to apply to them now?

I could send in the applications online, but test scores and transcripts probably would not have time to get there by the priority deadline. These schools accept students on a rolling basis, but their website says that it is recommended to apply early. One of them has a priority deadline that is in a couple of weeks with a regular admissions deadline that is sometimes next year. If I sent in my application to that school now under the priority deadline, would it just get rolled to the regular deadline next year if they don't receive all of my stuff in time?

Also, is it pointless for students to apply for scholarships after priority scholarship deadlines? Thanks for any answers!

It’s really difficult to say as each college processes applications differently, the best way to know for sure is to call the admissions office. Many schools do expect the application by the deadline but give a little extra time for accompanying materials.

As far as scholarships, it’s OK to apply after a ‘priority’ deadline, but not after a deadline.
