Hey guys.

I am very excited to be a student in UT this fall

However i just have a little concern about community bath.

I wonder community bath has privacy because i don't want see anybody naked and i don't want anyone see my naked body stuff you know?

So it is weird question but how's community bath works? like do you change your clothes in the hall or what?

Help me out guys

I know I am worried about that

Based on the photos and videos online that I have seen (if you watch some of the Jester individual dorm room tours on UTube, they sometimes cover the bathrooms). There are approx 4 individual commode stalls and 3 - 4 individual showers (which I believe have shower curtains) on each floor. I think you will have privacy.

I stayed in Jester West for a summer program, and the community bathrooms (at least, most of the girls’ community baths) have 3 stalls for showering and 1 tub. All have shower curtains, and each stall has a small changing room (about 2’ by 2’) that you walk through to get to the shower with a bench, hook for your towel, and a curtain for the room. So, you’ll definitely have privacy.
And, also, realize that everyone else is in the same situation as you. I do competitive sports, and I initially felt nervous about changing in front of other people, but I soon got used to it.

The bathrooms are no problem. Stayed in Jester during Orientation. I’m going to have issue with not being able to control the thermostat in my room if I don’t get Duren or San Jacinto. It was extremely hot sleeping at Jester

The baths were actually nice

I stayed in the jester dorm a few weeks a go. The community bath was nice (make sure you have shower shoes so no athletes foot) As a girl, I was concerned about the lack of sanitation disposal. There was only one bin and it wasn’t even covered. Just a pail with a plastic bag in it. And it was only in one stall. It was horrible.
