question about community college summer transfer course

<p>ok so im taking a class at a local community college. it began a week ago and will be ending in about a month. </p>

<p>am i supposed to send some sort of transcript to UCSD by the 15th, because i'm transferring credit? im a little unsure because i just started the class so i dont even have a grade in it yet. so whats the point of sending a transcript right now if theres not even going to be anything on it. im supposed to send the transcript when the course is over, right?</p>

<p>im assuming when they say college transcripts they only mean courses taken during high school, but im not sure.</p>

<p>IIRC there's a separate deadline for transcripts of summer work.</p>

<p>uh ... that transcript deadline is for stuff you've already declared -- like high school work and (for transfer students) appropriate college work.</p>

<p>if you're just taking stuff to "get ahead" or something, you can turn it in whenever you want -- probably in a timely manner so you can clear prereqs for other classes, if that's your aim.</p>

<p>The deadline for summer work to be submitted for Fall quarter is Sept. 15th.</p>
