Question about Cornell AEM major

I'm applying to Cornell for their Applied Economics and Management major (their undergrad. business program), however, this major is only available through the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences.

The website of the College of Agriculture says :

"Students considering transfer are required to complete a two semester general introductory biology sequence i.e. Biology 1 and Biology 2 with hands on labs prior to transfer."

As a finance/political science double major at my current school, I've only taken one physical science and an intro to biology course (neither with a lab), will this be a problem if I apply? would I have to take a bio 2 w/ lab over the summer?

Yes it will, you must meet the requirement

: ( I guess I'll have to take it over the summer and explain that in an essay.

Requirements need to be completed or in process (currently enrolled) at the time of application.

You can still apply...but preference is given to applicants who have completed the requirements for admission.
