Question about cornell

Hey everyone, I am currently at a community college and am trying to transfer into cornell aem as a junior. I currently have all the required prereqs fullfilled except for one (i will have to take it in the spring), and a couple of their "encouraged" ones. I am scheduled to take physics, but it is only conceptual physics. Will that hurt me? Also, how much emphasis does admissions put on "encouraged but not required" courses. I currently have a 3.89 gpa and will probably be able to get a 3.93 before i apply (i earned a B in a biology course i took in high school, but thats my only b). I also have some really really solid extra's,etc.

Give us a list of your “really really solid ec’s” and we can tell you how competitive you will be. Your GPA seems competitive though :D

nvm, saw your previous thread. Your EC’s are strong and so is your GPA. Write a good Essay and you should be a very competitive applicant. Also, in terms of the conceptual physicals, it should be o k, but its always best to e-mail cornell cals and make sure.

i got in with all but one pre-requisites satisifed. if you can prove to them you’ll do well, then they’ll select you for admissions regardless if you’re missing one or two pre-requisites. you can even take it at a community college, your university, etc prior to enrollment at Cornell presuming you end up going there. Good luck!

@TheMagician, could you please tell me your stats, and also some specific courses you took before transferring that were relevant

@rokjay, i saw your previous posts, and I would like to tell you im really impressed, you also look very competitive

thanks for both of your responses
