Question about "course not articulated" in Assist.org

1Hi fellow CC's, please help me out!

Trying to transfer to UC's, the problem is some courses say no course articulated

course not articulated-course to be TAKEN at UC..
course not articulated-course to be COMPLETED at UC...

so are they saying to complete course before I transfer or after i transfer?

For example, I'm at De anza, trying to go to Santa Barabara, Under econmics major, at the bottom theres econmic writing class that says no course articulated. WHAT DO I DO!??

2And also wondering, since we send in our app in November(middle of Fall Quarter), doesnt that mean the UC's determine are qualification without looking at our ensuing winter and spring quarter grades?

3Do we need to finish something before the NOVEMBER filling period? Or we are allowed to finish everything by next spring?

4 Will my chance be lowered alot if i have 2-3 classes on assist.org thats unfinished. I don't know if I'll have time to finish some computer science classes..ugh..

Help would be APPRECIATED

1

After transfer

2

Not sure about winter, but definitely won’t look at our spring grades. (for admission decisions)

3

Most ucs want you to be finalizing your english + math courses by fall. That means no more math/english eligibility requirements to be done during spring.

4

2-3 class are a lot.

Everything iZychr said is correct.

But I just want to clarify #3:
Finish any 2 UC transferable English courses and at least 1 UC Transferable math class. You can still finish up your math in the spring.

4: Missing 2 classes generally puts you at the bottom of the pile of applicants. Missing 3 classes is almost always an auto-reject, UNLESS they say on assist that those classes ARE NOT REQUIRED.

If you are missing 3 required classes… you’re pretty much screwed.
