Hey I'm going to be a senior this coming year and I'm taking 3 AP's and I had a question about 2 of them. I'm planning on taking AP Calc AB, AP Environmental Science, and AP Human Geography. Someone told me that some colleges don't accept Human Geography as an AP course, so I was wondering if NYU did? Also, which would look better? Taking AP Environmental Science or AP Physics, and then taking either AP Human Geography or AP Euro History? Thanks.

which school do u want to apply to at NYU? or what do u want to major in?

I want to apply ED to Stern.

I hope you know that Stern's policy on AP credits SUCK and they don't offer anything for Human Geography or Calc AB/BC.

here's a reference: http://w4.stern.nyu.edu/emplibrary/APstanding-Fall2006v9.20.06pdf.pdf

Wow that does suck. I'm actually most likely going to change my Human Geography course over to Euro History since it actually counts for something. Thanks.

Yeah, but Euro will only offer you elective credit...which might not be a good thing to use unless you want to graduate early or like...double major. after all you are paying to learn something...haha

Yea that's true. I'm going to see what my college counselor thinks.
