Question about Covered Grades

If I am pre-med, should I not take any of the pre-med classes during my first semester of freshmen year since med schools will likely want to see my grades for these classes? But don't they require at least a year-long work in a class?

Med schools know about Hopkins’ covered grade policy and I don’t think it is a problem for people who take premed classess as a freshman. Even if your first semester grade is covered, the second semester of the course is still graded. I actually took Organic Chemistry my freshman year and got the first half grade covered.

Just don’t do what this one girl did and take Biochem, Organic Chem 1, Physics 1 and her math class all in this semester. Med Schools want to see these grades and it becomes a hassle for the school to uncover these just for you. Having one covered is alright, maybe two. But anymore, I’d be wary.
