Question about decisions...

Well, I just found out that a girl ranked one lower than me with 100 points lower SAT score got GSP'd at NYU. Considering I have great recs, similar number of ec's, and assuming my essays are great... could this be an indication that I was probably accepted to CAS considering I did not recieve a GSP letter? FYI, NYU is one of my top choices.
