<p>There is no binding decision anymore. You've been deferred to be considered as any other RD applicant, from what I understand.</p>

<p>yeah, if you get deferred, you're put in the RD stack, and the binding agreement is null (since it's not ED anymore)</p>

<p>If you win a significant award or scholarship, I'd send it. Call the admissions office to ask first though, just to make sure.</p>
<p>we only get one extra month.. and two of the weeks are winter break so ya nothing really will happen. im just scared that a deferral from nu is basically a rejection since this is the first year they are deferring people. im so sad.</p>
