i want to be a dentist in the future, so i'm planning to go to grad school for it. but is there a difference what i major in my undergrad years? i really don't wanna be a science (bio, chem, etc) major. is econ okay? or do dentistry grad schools prefer science? also, i guess econ is more practical...just in case i change my mind

like being pre-med, you can be pre-dent with any major. Major in what you're interested in and that you know you'll do well in. All you need to do is take the pre-dent classes (pretty sure they're the same as the pre-med requirements: 1 year of general chemistry, 1 year general bio, 1 year physics, 1 year organic chem, semester to a year of math, 1 year of english), and take the DAT.
