Hi everyone! So, I will hopefully be going to UCI as a transfer student in the fall. (I'm on the waitlist + sent an appeal, but my appeal is super strong- I had two grades changed so my GPA was radically altered, in, you know, good ways. Anyway.) I'm planning on double majoring in English with a Creative Writing emphasis and History (hoping to make an emphasis on Asian history but I'm not certain how to go about that yet, but I'll figure that out once I get there if I do.) My question is, since I can't really find many ratings online, how are these programs at UCI? I know the Creative Writing masters program is one of the top in the country, so I -assume- the undergraduate is good as well, but, well, that's assuming. And, well, UCI's a good school and so I'm hoping the History department is good since it's a pretty bread-and-butter type major. But yes! Any feedback from current UCI students? :D

you can send an appeal even if you are on the waitlist?

Yup Since I was not outright accepted, I can send an appeal, and by the time I know if I’m in off the waitlist it’ll be too late to send in an appeal. Of course if I get in off the waitlist, the appeal won’t matter, but if I don’t then the appeal is my, err, 3rd chance :)
