Hi Everyone! I recently got into a great school (in my opinion) and my really thinking seriously about transferring. However, the majority of my family is against it because I am currently in a good place at my current school and this new one is pretty damn expensive. So, I understand their concerns but wish I had time to visit to really make up my mind. The thing is I am currently taking summer classes and have no free time whatsoever until mid-August. So, I can't visit anytime soon. So, is it allowed to submit the deposit at this transfer school (due next Tuesday) and stay enrolled in my current school until August/when my classes end, and then visit the transfer school and either keep the deposit and attend or tell them I'm not coming? I understand I would be loosing the deposit but will anything else worse than that happen? I understand that it is unethical also but I am also waiting to hear back off the waitlist from another school and I have no idea when I will find out. I really should have visited earlier on but never got a chance with finals and what not. Do you guys have any idea how this works? Thanks!
