I am a bit of an overachiever. I’ve decided that since my parents are paying $40000 i might take advantage of it and take a double major and a minor. i was wondering whether you guys think that i will be one of those kids who never has a life and is always studying. What are your opinions??

BTW- i was going to major in psychology and political science w/ a minor in italian

I know someone who's doing a double major and a triple minor (but he's staying here for 5 years). If you're pursuing a double major, I would personally focus on just your majors. If you decide against a double major, then consider a major and a double minor (I'm actually going to look into this, because I worked out my schedule for the next three years the other night as an Advertising major and Psychology minor, and my entire 2nd semester senior year is empty, and I don't want to graduate early.)

Remember, you'll want to experience college life as well, and the transition's tough; you don't want to completely drain yourself out. However, if you want to overload (taking 5 classes a semester after 1st or 2nd semester freshman year, depending on your school), I think what you have in mind is doable.
