Question about Dual-Enrollment Classes/Grades.

Hey CC, I've been reading up on this on the forums a bit, and just wanted to clarify something.

I recently got a B in a dual-enrollment biotech lab class at a local community college, and was wondering whether this grade will transfer to my college gpa? I've heard that it does not, especially when you are applying to grad/med schools...is this true? If so can I retake it?

For your undergrad degree, the credit will transfer and the grade will not transfer, unless you get your degree from the same college that you took the dual-credit course from.

However, AMCAS does include ALL dual-credit courses in their GPA calculation. Same for pharm school, dental school, vet school, etc… I’m not sure on grad school, but at least for the medical professions, it will count. Hope that helps at all.
