Question about early decision

Hey guys,

I had a concern about early decision. I'm applying ED to Johns Hopkins and I have everything to apply but my guidance counselor has not uploaded the ED agreement form. Would I still be able to apply ED and get the form in afterwards or no? Also, the site says the deadline is Nov 3. Does that mean the cut off is 12 AM at Nov 3 or the 11:59 PM on Nov 3?

From what I understand, the only “hard” things due on the deadline is the CA and the supplement. Anything else - such as transcript, LORs, ED agreement - can be submitted after the deadline but obviously not too later.

Also why would you wait that long to find out? You should be ready by now to submit.

My guidance counselor is VERY lazy and only sent in the required documents yesterday after days of asking. I only checked this morning to see that the agreement form was not uploaded so I wanted to find out if I needed it to apply ED

Go ahead and submit. More than likely the college will notify you and the counselor that the form is missing and give you a little extra time to submit it.

Also you can ask your counselor to sign on Monday Nov 3rd JHU ED date.

Submit today, go to the office Monday and don’t leave until your GC sends it. :)
