<p>The early decision rates are higher than regular admission, do those who apply in early decision have a slightly stronger chance because they show more interest or is it only because the applicants are generally stronger. Also if you believe that your senior gpa would slightly boost your gpa would it be better to go regular decision?</p>
<p>first question: it's both. students who apply ED usually have that "dream school" that they want to go to, and typically the applicant pool is a little stronger, or so i've heard.
second question: only apply ED if you are satisfied with your gpa/sat scores by october. if you think you have a chance to boost up, then wait until RD.</p>
