Question about Emory Waitlist

I'd really appreciate responses from anyone who is also on Emory's wait list or has been accepted from it in the past!

On Emory's Waitlist FAQ page it says the following as a recommendation for those hoping to get off the wait list:

1) Make sure you update the academic portion of your application. It is crucial, in order to help the Admission Committee further review your application that your most recent senior year grades are made available. Your high school counselor can email an updated transcript to admission@emory.edu. Your guidance counselor may choose to update his/her letter of recommendation at the time of submitting your updated grades.

I know it says "It is crucial", but I'm wondering if it's actually worth it for me to send in my third quarter grades (I'm doing so for no other school I applied to; currently enrolled in NYU since I had to pick one already). I'm now taking six academic classes, and from second term to third term all of my grades stayed consistent except for going from a B+ to an A- in honors anatomy and going from a B to a B- in AP English and Calc. Obviously none of these changes are significantly good, but should I still send in my grades just to prove, I don't know, that I don't have any C's?

I already sent Emory one letter expressing my continued interest in the school as well as one additional letter of recommendation (and I'm not planning on sending any more).

Thanks!!

Even though the grade changes aren’t significant, they want to make sure none of your grades turned from like a B to an F. They can’t be sure of that unless you send in your most recent transcript. I think you should go ahead and send it in.

It sure doesn’t hurt. I got off the waitlist last year because I sent in additional stuff and got in touch over the email with one of the people over at the admission office. Send in your report cards, any update on activities, awards, achievement, etc, throw in extra recommendation letters for them to look at it (put in the email something like, “look at this in addition if not its okay” kinda of stuff). I had UPenn, Notre Dame and Emory on waitlist and I send them everything; ND and Emory’s advisors were much more helpful while the guy from UPenn barely wrote anything in the reply. Don’t think it is too late because I began around this time too last year. You got nothing to lose but some time and paper.

I just heard today that I was in off of the wait list- they’re doing their first round!
