Question about Essay Format.

<p>Hey guys, I was wondering what the proper format of the essays I have to upload (like the common app personal statement) should be. Should it be one inch margins with a name in the header? Also, what about single vs. double spacing, etc?</p>

<p>I was also wondering if I should include a title on some of the shorter (250 word, uploaded) essays or essays about why I would want to attend such and such college.</p>

<p>1 inch margin is perfect. No need for your name on it anywhere, the common app will automatically do that once you upload. A title is nice but not required, and is most common for the big essay, not the smaller ones. Most people double space, but if it’s long sometimes single space looks better.</p>
