<p>Is it ok to write about the same topic for 2 essays for a school if those are your passions, or would be it better to show other sides of you?-as in, do they assume that whatever you write about is your passion?</p>
<p>I might think that two focused essays within a very broad topic might be ok, but it won't if you are trying to tell someone you are well-rounded. However, all the books say that you are supposed to be proving your passion for a sport, EC, etc.... So, you could write about the day you rescued a crew mate from a burning oil tanker, and about the yacht you built in your garage (both nautical; two different foci).</p>
